Yorkdale is going on a $200 million shopping spree and getting a new facelift and expanded retail space. Forty new stores, 800 new parking spots, and a 65,000 SF green roof are all part of the upgrades. The project was designed by Dialog Engineering who are also the engineers, while Vanbots/Carillion Construction is overseeing the general contracting. A total of 291 Tons of steel will be used.
